| 3962.1 | It works for my customer. Cum grano salis | VIRGIN::DEMETRIOU |  | Wed May 14 1997 04:45 | 8 |
| | I think is fine as I have a customer using it. I must say
    that up to the version 2.0.2 was an error, especially with
    a mixed environment (Phase V and IV nodes).I escalated the
    problem and engineering corrected it. I am not sure though
    if V 2.0.3 has this correction but I would think so.

| 3962.2 | Worked for me... | DAVIDF::FOX | David B. Fox -- DTN 285-2091 | Wed May 14 1997 10:24 | 19 |
| | I answered this in the COMMON_BROUTERS notes conference. It would have
    been good to say that you had cross-posted this into multiple
    conferences.

    To paraphrase, it worked for me with Phase V clusters when I was
    testing METEOR up to FCS. I haven't played with any of the subsequent
    FIX kits that have been released.

    I don't know what Phyl's problem was though. The RouteAbout will only
    support Phase V cluster aliases. Phase IV clusters require a sepearate
    alias and at least one member of the cluster must have a full function
    license with routing enabled.

    If the concern was about Phase IV ES to Phase V cluster, the RouteAbout
    should handle the initial conversion of HELLO packets without any
    difficulty. After that, the cluster will talk Phase IV to the ES
    directly.

| 3962.3 | Bug fix is on the way... | DAVIDF::FOX | David B. Fox -- DTN 285-2091 | Wed May 14 1997 11:55 | 7 |
| | Actually I do sort of remember Phyl's problem as Neil had asked me
    about it.

    The METEOR/ASTEROID Testing Project Leader just told me that the bug is
    fixed in an upcoming fix kit. Stay tuned...
