| | for example: did your customer not get the licenses they expected?
I have no experience with the DEC Campus packaging, so do not know if it
includes the NetWorker Jukebox licenses, but if they are I'd expect to
see 3 of them (tier 1,2,3).

| | I've done some more searches. Some of the PAKs are there, but
    specifically not the juke-box PAKS.

Is this because the requirement for these to work the tape loader is
    new in V4.2a?

| | Hi John,
EBI in Cambridge have DECcampus. To backup a cluster with a stacker and
Oracle Enterprise backup (DMO+EBU) would have them 50,000 pounds*!!
Even with a lot of discount they still paid lots.
Call their account manager: Jonathan Charles (0831-140855) for the scoop.
Regards,
Richard.

| | I don't remember the terms of the CSLG program. However, I do
remember there being issues around royalty software. All of the
NetWorker products are royalty software.

| | Well, the customer is now going back to his reseller to inquire about
the PAKs. He is not too impressed with this - no-one told him he would
have to pay extra to use the stuff he bought last year (it has been
sitting around since then). I think he accepts that it is not our
fault and that his reseller should have checked the configuration and
    supplied the appropriate liceneses.
