657.0. "save: xdr of win32 attributes failed" by COPCLU::WIELAND () Tue May 06 1997 05:34

Hi 

My customer is running Networker 4.2B on his Unix system, this system
takes backup of several Unix and NT clients, one NT client fails when 
doing full backup with 
    
* dkajax.ls.dk.lego.com:E:\ save: xdr of win32 attributes failed for `E:\Shares
\NT-KITS\OFF97PRo.DK4\OS\SYSTEM\'

The NT client is running NT version 4.0 Networker 4.3.

I've seen this once before, and installation of the latest Service Pak on 
the client got rid of this message.

Do you have patch 9 or 12 installed on the server.  This problem is also
related to overlapping savegroups, which you should avoid.
