506.0. "Save set status concerns" by SANITY::LEMONS (And we thank you for your support.) Wed Mar 19 1997 20:55
    Hi

I'm trying to reconcile the seven save set status variations mentioned
on page 180 of the 'NetWorker Administrator's Guide UNIX Version to the
8 'ssflags' field values mentioned in the mminfo man page, and can't.

    man page Admin Guide
    C continued
    v valid
    r purged (recoverable)	Recoverable
    S scanned-in Scanned-in
    E eligible for recycling	Recyclable
    i incomplete
    I in-progress In-progress
    F finished
    ?? Browsable
    ?? Aborted
    ?? Suspect

Another oddity is that the 'ssflags' field is seven characters long,
    but there are 8 possible flags. Hmmm . . . .

Finally, the Administrator guides states that In-progress and Aborted
save sets can't be cloned (that's good). Does this hold true for the
GUI and for the nsrclone command level program. Will nsrclone fail if
it asked to clone an in-progress or aborted save set, or say that it is
ignoring it, and keep on with the next saveset in the list to be
    cloned?

    Thanks!
