359.0. "Clear the archive bit on NT client" by COPCLU::WIELAND () Wed Jan 29 1997 02:42
Hi
My customer have some problem with reset of the Archive bit on
 a NT client.

 The addendum documentation page 87,
; The archive bit is turned off at backup time only when doing
  ; full automatic backups.
My customer is running Networker 4.3-B on the Unix Network
server, the client is NT for Axp and Intel both running NT 4.0
  and Networker 4.3 client kit.
He starts a full automatic backup every night, but the archive
  bit is never turn off.
I would appreciate any hints or info.
                            thanks in advance
                             Johnny Wieland

| | The NT client never resets the Archive bit. NetWorker
does not use that flag to determine whether a
file needs to be backed up.
