I have a user with the following problem: Admin/Pathworks login ascreen loops continuously with repeated displays of garbage in the user id window. It uses 100% cpu. No user input is possible. The user has a VAX 3100 running VMS 7.1, Pathworks 6, DECnet Phase IV, UCX. Has anyone seen the likes of this before, as it has me somehwat baffled. Regards Paul Sture, Munich. | Thanks for your prompt reply. In fact the user solved it himself. For info, he had the following in his SYLOGIN.COM: $define tt dka0:[NTCLSTR.raidsup] AND, he also had several versions of a file named .; in that directory, which is where that mysterious input was coming from.
