Hi,
I have a customer that is running PATHWORKS 32 on a Windows95 PC. When
she attempts to get a license, she gets a PNLR0041 error. She has
PWLMDOSCC06.00 and PWXXXWINAT07.00 licenses loaded correctly with
available units. The license server and registrar are running and are
using both DECnet and TCP/IP. The server is running PATHWORKS for
OpenVMS v5.0E.
Can anyone give me any troubleshooting advice for finding her problem?
Thanks,
Jill Forrest

be sure you can LOOP/PING the server
define the license server name in NCP and/or LMHOSTS/WINS and
specify it in the license agent control panel
check the license server log file

> When she attempts to get a license, she gets a PNLR0041 error. Just one? What license is it for? DEC-PWLMXXXFP05.00? > She has PWLMDOSCC06.00 and PWXXXWINAT07.00 licenses loaded correctly with > available units. Are the clients configured to ask for the DEC-PWLMDOSCC06.00 licnense instead of the default DEC-PWLMXXXFP05.00? | |||||
