    Hi folks !

    I have a problem with pathworks32 and WinNT4.0 Workstation

I don't get any network-connection (shares) over Decnet.

    Two Server's have Openvms 6.1 +Pathworks v.5.0

    The pwrk$license_manager said that I have 350 User-Licence and

    349 availible.

The License-Responder on the Client has the Input for License and

he also make a Verifying over the Network and he see the Servers,

but don't worry ,it does'nt works.

The Error-Message was : No more Copnnection to The Remote-Server's,

because there is the max. Connection of Clients.

    Thank's

    Best Regards Harald

| If you are not being allowed into he remote server because "to many clients are connected" this does not always meen a licensing problem. How many connections are currently established to the server, and ... how many is it configured for? Jeff | |||||

| re: .0 In addition to the considerations noted in .1 and .2, you should also probably insure that you are using the *correct* licenses to access your PATHWORKS server(s). Note that a PATHWORKS 32 V7.0 license does *not* provide you with a license to use the PATHWORKS V5.0 server. You need either an old CCS license (DOS, NT, or OS/2) or an FPA (now called the Designated Access license) if you are using client-based licenses. John | |||||
