Hi friends, I would like to know, wich is the escaltion path for alta vista firewall. I have a customer, who needs the FTP port 20 functionality of FDFU V3.0. Since the RFC states that the server must support the default port, this is a functionality, wich should be implemented. I tested V2.1. The FTP Proxy does not support the port 20. I will not install the old seal proxy, since the customer bought a product and hopes to get a software service for the product. That is the only reason, why he will move from the seal firewall to the Alta Vista Firewall. Can the Alta Vista Firewall Product Manager describe the escalation path in this conference ? Arturo

Hi friends,
I would like to know, wich is the escaltion path for alta vista firewall.
I have a customer, who needs the FTP port 20 functionality of FDFU V3.0.
*
* What does FDFU stand for?
*
Since the RFC states that the server must support the default port, this is a
functionality, wich should be implemented.
*
* Are you indicating that when you 'ftp' to the Firewall that it does
* respond on Port 20? What port is it responding on?
*
I tested V2.1. The FTP Proxy does not support the port 20.
I will not install the old seal proxy, since the customer bought a product and
hopes to get a software service for the product. That is the only reason, why he
will move from the seal firewall to the Alta Vista Firewall.
Can the Alta Vista Firewall Product Manager describe the escalation path in
this conference ?
*
* Can you forward you comments, questions, and concerns to me at
* [email protected] and I'll forward it to the proper
* Product Manager.
* We have some Product Management changes recently.
*
Regards,
Arturo
