| 1722.1 | Zone File using Firewall Name for MX Record? | TENNIS::KAM | AltaVista Software 714/261-4133 DTN 535.4133 | Tue Jan 21 1997 13:51 | 125 |

| I 'm confusing about the MX record, I have setup the AV Firewall for
    Unix 2.0 and using MS Exchange as the Mail hub. So far, I know that at
    the firewall, the MX record must point to the firewall itself, my
    question is that: How does the firewall know where or who is the
    internal mail hub that the firewall has to send incoming mail to? I
    know that this is a very stupid question, but please clarify me for my
    better understanding.

    (My situation is the fireall is setup to be Open DNS)
