Obviously, you will need access to the documentation for the various
Q-bus modules installed in this system.
You will need a second Q-bus controller for the second tape drive,
and you will likely need assistance in correctly configuring the
new controller via switch settings on the new tape controller, and
potentially reconfiguring other switch settings on other Q-bus
controllers present in the system (note that Q-bus CSR values have
a `configuration priority order' or `rank', and the insertion or the
removal of any specific Q-bus module can potentially cause cascading
changes to the CSRs and/or vectors of other modules installed in the
Q-bus system).
The determination of the correct CSR and vector settings is via the
SYSGEN> CONFIGURE command, and via directly decoding the CSR and/or
vector settings on the module(s). (Not via SYSGEN> SHOW commands,
as those displays show the expected -- not actual -- values...)
When using SYSGEN> CONFIGURE, one must specify *all* Q-bus devices,
as -- given the cascading nature of Q-bus CSRs -- the omission of any
one of the Q-bus widgets present may result in an invalid configuration.
