  Hi,

  We saw a number of problems reported earlier by other partners.  The latest 
  one being on Alpha/NT 4.0, sp1 or sp2.  Using a small Win32/Alpha program
  which forces a crash, on each system it creates a log file with a 
  couple lines of copyright info, but no output for crashes.  The dialog
  box which comes up when a program crashes says "an application error
  log is being generated", but the dialog stays up forever.

  The obvious question for this ISV would be: did it fail the same way on 
  Intel?  I heard that the 'fix' is available on NT 4.0 sp4, not sp3. 
  Can some one confirm that?

    Can't remember which notesfile but the statement was that the Dr Watson
    fix missed SP3 and was now targetted for SP4.
