JOB DESCRIPTION:
Design and implement software (user interface, data collection/analysis)
for a range of bench test equipment. Design software architecture using
Object Oriented programming in Windows NT environment. Determine long
term direction of future software applications. Develop new
instrumentation software and interfaces in a Windows NT environment.
Enhance and migrate existing software from VMS/VAX to WNT/PC.
Troubleshoot new and existing software and systems.
EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
BSCS or equiv. min of 3 yrs experience in design and implementation of
software for Windows NT and/or Windows 95. Experience with object oriented
design and programming using Visual C++ is essential. Experience with
Microsoft Foundation Classes and Visual Developer Studio desirable.
Understanding of instrumentation and communication between instruments
and controllers highly desirable.
