Dear all, We may be embarking on a pilot project involving writing a shared library on Alpha - VMS (AXPORA) server , called from LNX methods, and calling LNX APOs as well as ACMS tasks. We will probably use a mix of C & Pascal to write the code. Is there any experience in writing such code (against LNX, I mean) ? If so, are there any special stumbling blocks we should pay attention to ? Thanks, Yakir [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

Yes, there is!
We got started with the GETDOC example from the LinkWorks support group
in the Netherlands: IJSAPL::DISK$LNX:[SUPPORT.TOOLS.GETDOK.VMS]

We have experience with C, C++, DCL, and Oracle, not with ACMS or
Pascal. Our shared library does not use any APO calls.
