Linkworks v3.08   Unix v3.2g

Users are getting sql-02117 unable to open message file they then get
sql-02113. They are then unable to get into what they want to open, this 
problem happens intermittently. I realise that the error 2117 means:

  "Invalid SQL Cursor usage: trying to open an opened cursor"

and we have checked:

  SQLDBA> show parameter open_cursors;

and he has 1500. Any ideas as to what could be causing these problems?

	Do you have an ER* file from this situation? It can be that an error (like network) occured and Linkworks recovery went wrong. Joop Visser
