Hi folks

LNX v3.0.8c for OpenVMS/Alpha v6.2 

Customer has noticed that the net$server.log files
in the mail processes directories are rapidly 
heading for the version number limit of 37577 (or 
whatever it is) and want to reset to 1 on a regular
basis. Seems simple - shutdown and rename the files
back to version 1 - but there is apparantly a 
timeout on the decnet object which is stopping the
rename so their query is how long is the timeout,
so it can be allowed for in a batch job.

Any ideas

Information provided off-line. For anyone else who's 
interested the timeout is 20 seconds.
