Hi,
A customer with Windows-NT 3.51 clients on LNX3.0.8 reports
the following:
- When they have worked with Excell and close the application,
they confirm the question to save the object. Excell then closes,
but the object in LinkWorks doesn't. When they want to close LinkWorks,
it tells they first have to close all applications, so they have to stop
LinkWorks from the task manager. And on the next session the user finds
out that his object was not saved. Unfortunately I could not reproduce
this. The customer reports a 1% failure rate.
Is this behaviour known to someone ?
What can I do to locate the problem area ?

| Marc,
Discussed this behavior with Engineering but we could not come to some
kind of possible cause or solution. If it really only occurs 1 out of 100
it will be very hard to reproduce. One question that came up is are they using
OLE (ILockBytes) or not. This is merely out of interest...
