Can you help me.

I have a user with a Hinote VP 575 which is suspending frequently during 
use and hanging on shutdown I get a black screen with a flashing cursor in 
the top left corner. The only way to shut it down from here is to 
ctrl-alt-del. 
It is running the OEM pre-installed version of WIN95 and is on bios level 
1.02b. Any suggestions ???
