I know that this has been discussed before somewhere, but I can't
locate the note...
After replacing the hard disk on my HiNote CT475 (and restoring
Windows95 from a full backup), the Suspend function no longer appears
on the Start Menu. How do I get it back?
I have checked the BIOS setup and APM is enabled. In Control
Panel->System->Device Manager->System Devices->Advanced Power
Management Support->Settings, the Enable Power Management Support check
box is checked...
What am I missing?
Regards,
Tom

| 2390.1 | The option is in the Power applet | VAOU09::ras018p06.vao.dec.com::FBROWN | Fred Brown, NT Wizard | Tue Apr 29 1997 15:13 | 5 |
In the same control panel applet, there's an option at the bottom which has "Show Suspend command on Start menu." Set that to "Always" and you should see the suspend option. Regards, | |||||
