I meant to say, if booting WITHOUT the Mobile Media attached, one doesn't
    get this message.

| | Any news on this problem?
I have also seen this problem on a number of Ultra II's and pressing
the reset switch usually gets me out of it, but at the moment I have a
LTS5150 on BIOS 2.10 (FR-P8FWG-AE) with a 6 X Mobile Media Unit
(Rev B05) with a 3COM 3C562B/3C563B (REV: A) combo card. If I do a
Shutdown in Win95 (FIS installed) and I switch it on again the ROM
checksum error is there every time when I leave all the above named
PCMCIA devices in their slots during this procedure. If however I do a
Shutdown and Restart in Win95 or if I remove the 3COM PCMCIA card
before I power it on the problem doesn't occur.
