| 1702.5 | I couldn't get the part from USR | PARZVL::ogodhcp-125-128-38.ogo.dec.com::kennedy | nuncam non paratus | Wed Feb 12 1997 16:39 | 15 |
| I called USR recently about this and had no luck, so would like to confirm a couple of things. Did we use the same part number for the IBM-sourced modems which were replaced and the Digital modem? My, which was a replacement for the IBM one does have part number FR-PCP78-AB (was the IBM -AA?) Should we be asking for part # 1.009.747-C or or 1.009.734 ? is there a name/number we can give them which identifies which of their modems ours really is? (at this point, I've probably wasted more of Digital's time than a new modem would cost chasing this down, but I hate to order a whole modem when I only need the $15 dongle). | |||||
