| 98.1 | hint to go to upper right on the map needed !! | HGOCS::SIMONLAU |  | Sun Sep 11 1994 13:05 | 9 |
| | Level: 11

I couldn't get to the EXIT, which I believe should be in the upper right
portion on the map. I could go anywhere but couldn't find way to reach
    that portion !!

    Any hint appreciated.

    Thanks

    lesse...

you get the blue card, hit the switch to raise the platform to get the
red card. go thru the red door, hit the skull switch at the end to
lower the ramp across from the ramp that runs out to the center where
you got the red card. go down the ramp to the center, turn around and
run like hell to leap over the circle of waste. if you go up the
elevator to the right, hit the skull and run back down then over to the
left, the other elevator will have lowered. hit THAT switch, that
raises a gate in the center. the exit is off of there

| 98.3 | yea, I leap the gap...but ... | HGOCS::SIMONLAU |  | Mon Sep 12 1994 12:48 | 9 |
| | I leap over the circle of waste, but failed to get to the left elevator
before it closes the door (after hitting the skull in the upper room
via the right elevator). It seems that I lack of practice .... or if
there's anything could help me get there faster or ..... ??

    Thanks

yeah, you have to be QUICK! i hit the skull, run backwards back into
the elevator. when you come down youll be facing forwards, then just
    RUN for it.

There is a secret door nearby...look quick.

Which ledge? Which teleporters? All ledges I remember ending up on
have some good ammo or some item there. And don't remember two ways
    to get to any.

| | As regards the two lifts near then end, I think there _may_ be some
confusion as to left & right here.....

    			     EXIT
    			   ________
    			  | |
    			  | |
    			  | o o o o|
                 _________/ \_________
    		| |
    	        | ______ ______ |
    		|----| |--------| |----|
                |lift| | | |lift|
    	     ___|----|__ __|----|___
    	     | 1 | | 2 |
    	     |_________| |_________|

You need to go into the LEFT room (1) first, flick the skull switch.
This brings down the lift to the RIGHT room (2). You have to run to get
to it, but once on it this will take you up to room (2). Flicking the
skull switch in here opens the bars (o) to the exit.

There should be no way you can take the wrong lift, since it won't come
down by pressing SPACE on it, but I thought the diagram might help
    anyway.

Any excuse to exercise my crappy ASCII art skills <guffaw!>

| | Your ASCII art is great! Though you've simplified the topology past
    the bars (hint).

I found this was a particular case where I used the sound effects to
notice that the switch was tripping something. And used the AutoMap
to see what was happening... as it will show you the platforms going up
    and down.

| | This is my favourite Deathmatch level. There are so many neat nooks and
crannies you can hide out in, it's big enough to be able to play that
kind of game rather than just blasting but small enough to keep the
adrenaline flowing! Level 7 is probably the best blaster level. Play it
    in deathmatch with monsters!
