I'm playing now DOOM already for a long time now, trying out all WAD's. But I still got one question. I never succeed to save more than 4 different games. Game 5 and 6 are never accessible. How comes? Paddy

If I remember correctly this is a bug with version 1.2. Saving games
in slots 5 or 6 overwrite saved games in slots 1 or 2.

This problem existed in versions 1.0 and 1.1, both shareware and
the registered versions.
The 1.2 version has fixed the problem, you can upgrade by getting
the patch from SHUVVA::DKB0:[DOOM.MISC] the file you need is
dependant upon whether you are running the shareware or registered
version, the filenames are DM1_2SPT.ZIP and DM1_2RPT.ZIP respectively.
