| 4169.1 | Volume Shadowing in use? | ROMEOS::LESLIE_DA | Greetings & Solutions | Wed May 18 1994 20:09 | 8 |
| | Without more details, finding the solution to this problem will be
    miraculous! I just encountered an RWAST on a system here (not running
    ALL-IN-1, BTW), that was due to some volume shadowing setup problems.
    Are you using disk shadowing? If not, there must be some other stab in
    the dark or more information supplied as to how to find the problem.

    HTH,
Dan

    what versions of this and of OpenVMS are you running.

    As the others have noted, it's near on impossible to determine what has
    happened to the process. There are no specific bugs against the server
    going into this state, so if you see it again or it becomes a real
    issue, let me know...

    Thanks,
    Kevin.

| 4169.4 | MR is V3.2 | EISYFI::LAB010::Yasemin Isler | Sales Support, New England PSC | Fri May 20 1994 14:10 | 11 |
|  | Thanks,
I thought maybe some of you may have an idea. The File cabinet server started
to go into RWAST only recently. I do have MR 3.2 running, but it has been
running before I installed V3.0A, with V3.0, and never had this problem. V3.0A
has also been on the system for a while. But of course, I need more information
to figure out the problem.
I'll keep an eye on it, and see if I can find anything more next time.
Yasemin
