|  |     valeria,

    Hang on a minute that's not transferring a customization that's
    subverting the whole point of CM! the receiving system will have no
    record of the customisation and ALLIN1/NOCUSTOM will have no effect.
    Life in the CSC is hard enough without finding out that DIGITAL people
    are hacking customer systems beneath out feet.

    Do it by the book - open the Application programming Guide book on CM
    and learn how to use the SV (send to VMS) and RV (receive from VMS)
    options - you may also use the send element by mail option on the CM
    menu if the two systems are connected by message router.

    regards,

| 4029.3 | Copying from V3.0 to V2.4 | VAXRIO::WILLECKE | I'm still trying... | Tue Mar 29 1994 20:02 | 12 |

    Andrew,

    I forgot an important detail. I have to transfer the application to a
    site that is running ALL-IN-1 IOS V2.4!!!!! As I saw, the options to
    move applications are available only for V3.0... Do you know how can I
    do this?

    Thnaks,
    Valeria.

| 4029.4 | use DEVELOP.FLB? | AIMTEC::WICKS_A | Atlanta's Most (In)famous Welshman | Tue Mar 29 1994 21:01 | 13 |
|  |
    copying backwards is not advisable how do you know if they will
    work...

    anyway still use the SV or S option to get off the v3.0 system
    then on the v2.4 system create an element with the same name in the
    develop area and do an fms/repl to the develop form-library after

    of course upgrading the other system to v3.0 would be better

    regards,
