I have been asked to provide some consultancy to a customer on how they can send mail between ALL-IN-1 and INTERNET. The customer has already purchased the DEC TCP/IP Services for VMS software and identified an INTERNET Service Provider here in the UK. I'm new to INTERNET, but as I understand they don't need any additional software ? What else does the customer need ? Can somebody advise me on the best way to configure ALL-IN-1 / Message Router to provide INTERNET access ? What other things need to be taken into consideration regarding mail transfer with INTERNET ie security, viruses, attachments, answer etc. I assume that delivery and read receipts are not supported.
