    Andy,

I assume this is a fresh installation.

For some reason the partition seeding did not work. This is the
mechanism by which the user's MAIN drawer is added to PARTITION.DAT.

    To fix up:

    1) Make sure the file cabinet server is up and running.

    2) From the manager's account, do :

    		<do oa$lib:oafc$part_seed

This should do the trick. If you still have problems check the log file
produced from running partition seeding, which is in OA$LOG.

I don't believe partition seeding will work if the users language field
is blank in the profile, so that might be something to check also.

    Kevin.

| 3961.2 | No drawer | HGOVC::ANDYKKNG |  | Mon Mar 14 1994 06:04 | 17 |
| | Kevin,

I've checked that the language field was ENGLISH.

When I tried the 'do' at the SM menu, it asked me to look at the file
SYS$MANAGER:OAFC$SERVER.LOG. But there is no such file there, nor in
    OA$LOG.

When I tried that in the EM menu, it said 'there is no such drawer'.

In both cases, there is no drawer created.

    Please help again.

    Thansk
    Andy

I think the message is incorrect and the file that you are looking for
    is OA$LOG:OAFC$PART_SEED.LOG.
