A customer is asking for a security classification of ALL-IN-1. Has this ever been done? (like C2 for Ultrix, LinkWorks...) /Tommy Wallgren

| It would probably be nearly as good as whatever VMS is. I expect that
the base version has never been tested.

A long time ago, there was a secure version of VMS called SEVMS (which
gets it to C2 or better), and I had some conversations with a member of
that group (whose name alas, I've long forgotten) about making ALL-IN-1
    work with such a system.

In case it helps your customer, we did put some extra hooks into V3.0
to enable those who wanted to, to added extra security features.

    Graham
