Folks,
A customer of mine (where co-incidently I used to contract before I
was "Re-Badged") is planning to install MUPA soon and has just run the
CART. They were surprised (as was I) at the small number of elements
flagged as they had previously compared the lists of V3.0A-supplied
elements in the Release Notes against their own lists of modified
elements and they were expecting a few more. I know that THEIR
documentation is accurate ('cos I did it!) and I know that they only
checked the V3.0A elements (not V3.0-1, they installed that last year).
The elements (all forms) that do not appear in the CART report
even tho' they have customised them and they are listed in the MUPA RN
are;
DLEDIT, DDS$INDEX, EMHEADMENU, DDS$ALL$INDEX
These forms do not appear in the M_CM$CART$BASE$CHANGES$OA$V30A$BR.DAT
file in the kit. However they appear to be in the A1_MUPA030_LLV.BCK
saveset which itself is in A1_MUPA030.A...
[DIAM_SPT.DSPT_PATCH.PATCH141.KIT_LLV]DDS$ALL$INDEX.FLX;3
[DIAM_SPT.DSPT_PATCH.PATCH141.KIT_LLV]DDS$INDEX.FLX;3
[DIAM_SPT.DSPT_PATCH.PATCH141.KIT_LLV]DLEDIT.FLX;3
[DIAM_SPT.DSPT_PATCH.PATCH141.KIT_LLV]EMHEADMENU.FLX;3
So... what's the story? Is the list in the RN wrong? Or is it only
relevant to the Star-spangled, gum-chewing, all-American "ENGLISH"
version - not the "BRITISH" one 8-) ? Or is it the BR CART datafile
which is in the wrong?
Thanks, Andy

Hi,
It looks like your right, all the elements you list are assocaited with
one fix. It looks like the BRITISH CART didn't get updated with this
fix.
Sorry,
Mike

What fix would this be? What are the "base changes"?
What status should the CART flag these elements with (e.g. M)?
If there a workaround/fix?
Is it possible to check if any OTHER elements have been missed out?
Should this be SRF'ed ?
Thanks,
Andy

Andy,
it's probably wrong in all versions of the V3.0A CART whether
they be funny dialects of English or not (:==:)
I would further guess the elements should have been reported as
Recommended e.g status P since the MUp didn't have any elements deemed
Mandatory - not even SM$MAIN2 was given that honour.
BACKUP/LIST on the MUP savesets is the definitive list of changed
elements.
an SRF? no not really worth since they'll never be another MUP for v3.0

I have checked and I *think* that the only other element missing from
the BRITISH MUPA CART is "WP_SYS_EDIT.SCP". However, I'm not sure
because there are two datafiles in the kit;
M_CM$CART$BASE$CHANGES$OA$V30A$BR.DAT;
D_CM$CART$BASE$CHANGES$OA$V30A$BR.DAT;
I assume that one (D_mumble?) includes the 3.0-1 elements, the other
doesn't (D_mumble certainly has a helluva lot more!).
The WP_SYS_EDIT.SCP element is in the D_mumble CART datafile but is not
in the M_mumble one - despite the fact that that the element appears in
the V3.0A part of the kit (in A1_MUPA030.C);
[DSPT_PATCH.PATCH141.KIT_BIV]WP_SYS_EDIT.SCP;3
I am now totally confused 8-) !
