    Hi,

A customer of mine is considering the Distributed Sharing Option and
I'm unsure how to license it. Do they need to license both ALL-IN-1
systems or just the one containing the drawers needing shared. ie. if
a user on ALL-IN-1 system (A) wants to access a shared drawer on ALL-IN-1
system (B), across the network, does system (A) have to be licensed as well.

    cheers,
    Norrie

    Norrie,

Only the system that has the shared drawers needs the DSO license. The
server looks for the DSO PAK during startup, and if it finds a valid
license it knows it can distribute information off node.

So if your sharing really is one way, then only one system needs the
    license.

    Kevin.
