3887.0. "Errors logging into Managers account" by KERNEL::VANRIXTELE (Emma van Rixtel) Tue Feb 15 1994 11:46

    Hi,

I have a customer who when logging into their ALL-IN-1 Manager's
account he gets "error occured trying to access managers calendar"
    A GOLD W shows..

%OA-E-IO open, error opening file ""
    -RMS-F-SYN file specification syntax error
%OA-E-CMACESERR error occurred trying to access managers calendar
%OA-I-INVPREGET error on field meetin process symbol
    "OA$MEETING_COUNT_DISPLAY"
%OA-E-EIPRE error occurred while preprocessing form main.

He is on v3.0, and several Stars articles suggested that this is caused
by not having a .A1CAL file. He has tried creating one using

    $create/fdl=oa$lib:calendar.fdl manger.a1cal

But this did not make any difference. Have also tried deleting the .PST
file, but still no joy. He has also done a set watch just before he
logs in and I am still awaiting the log file. In the meantime, is there
    anything else I can try?

I have had a look at the directory structure and the protections on all
files and they appear to be ok.

    Thanks,

    Emma van Rixtel.

| | Make sure there is no customized form called MAIN. Try entering
ALL-IN-1 at some form that doesn't have much smarts, like
ALLIN1/FORM=BA. Also make sure the profile entry for the MANAGER
is pointing to the proper directory.
