| 3877.2 | It's an ASCII file | IOSG::NEWLAND | Richard Newland, IOSG, REO2-G/L2 | Tue Feb 22 1994 10:17 | 12 |
| | If you look at the named data on the FCFL$INDEX menu you will see that the
listing file is being created as an ASCII file. This means that it will be
formatted using the 'ASCII EDT' FORMAT master entry information.
Since the WPS-PLUS Formatter Print Settings can be displayed the customer
must have modified the 'ASCII EDT' FORMAT master entry to specify that
ASCII documents are formatted using the WPS-PLUS formatter. When the
WPS-PLUS Formatter formats an ASCII document it uses hard-coded default
settings, which include the top and bottom margins being 6 lines.

| 3877.4 | Replaced by FC$IFO$INDEX | IOSG::MAURICE | Six Programmers in search of an analyst | Thu Jun 16 1994 13:26 | 9 |
|  |     Hi,

    It was deleted from the V3.0 kit because it was no longer used in the
    product. It was used by option LF which changed in V3.0 to be identical
    to the new-to-V3.0 IF (index of folders) option.
