Hi all,
Using V3.0 I merrily renamed FRED's ALL-IN-1 account to FRED_2.
Unfortunately this account had a regular shared folders in it (created
in V2.4).
In FRED_2 you can list the old shared folder name ([FRED]LIBRARY) but
you can not index its contents. The error message it gives is "No
documents could be found".
Is there any way I can get these docs back? I tried several approaches
which failed. Not surpising really since I had to create a new account
for FRED as well.
What I have now is:
1. New ALL-IN-1 + VMS account FRED on disk5 with directory FRED.DIR
2. Old ALL-IN-1 + VMS account FRED_2 on disk2 with directory FRED_2.DIR
(renamed from the restored FRED, user deleted docs from DCL)
3. A directory structure (part of original FRED) with no ALL-IN-1
account or VMS username attached called OLD_FRED.DIR
I hope I didn't confuse you.

permanent loss.
