A customer would like to have some scanning product that would
scan in a say, application form into ALL-IN-1 IOS, make some
modification from ALL-IN-1 and then have it sent out.

Is there such product available ? If so, will ALL-IN-1 be able to
modify this object ? I suppose we can send this image out as an
attachment with a foreign data type. But modifying it ?

    Any comments ?

    regards,
    ching-U

Modifying images with a VT terminal is not likely.

Question is what kind of data are we talking about. If the software
handling this data can run on a Windows PC or a MAC, TeamLinks
    might be a solution.

| Wasn't there a note from John CORNWALL recently that described an integration of ImageNOW and ALL-IN-1?? This would mean that the user would have to be using a PC, but otherwise is great. Also at one stage there was an ASSETS thinggy called VIS or a later one called son-of-VIS (there may be a note by Andrew Norton on these from 3 years ago). VIS used avrious DECimage bits to scan in and save images in DDIF format, so they could be read by a VT340 terminal.... | |||||
