        Hello,
        
        Our customer has Finnish ALL-IN-1 V2.4 with GPC installed. 
        Recently I upgraded this system to OpenVMS V5.5-2 and also to 
        DEC Notes V2.4.
        
        Now users have problem with printing some topics/replies on a 
        notes conference. Those particular entries look fine when read 
        but only print partly. It appears that next line (on the entry)  
        after last line printed contains "-" as first character on the 
        line.
        
        I spent plenty of time tracking this and could not reproduce this 
        problem on English ALL-IN-1 V2.4 (with Notes V2.2) nor on Finnish 
        ALL-IN-1 V3.0A (with Notes V2.5).
        
        The problem appears to be related possibly to DEC Notes V2.4 and 
        locally accessed conferences.
        
        One possible solution seemed to be to modify OAN$EXTRACT.SCP in 
        such a way that two items are removed from NOTES EXTRACT call.
     NOTES EXTRACT -
      "OAN_EXTRACT.TXT", OA$NOTES_NOTE_ID, "1", oa$notes_note_total_lines, OA$Y
vs.
     NOTES EXTRACT -
      "OAN_EXTRACT.TXT", OA$NOTES_NOTE_ID,,, OA$Y
        
        But as the problem disappears with remotely access 
        conferences..., why bother.
        
        Has anybody seen this type of extracting/printing problem with 
        GPC before?
