[ALLIN1.SOURCES_SHARES.A1PATCH$JOURNALS]*.BCK
Can I delete them?

These are backup savesets used to deinstal patches.
You do not need them online. Put them on tape if you need the
diskspace.

also if you keep them online then remember to delete them when you do
a major upgrade e.g v2.4 to v3.0 as the files will no longer be
relevant.
