    Hello,
    
    Current image is linked with NOTES$SHARE and I am trying to 
    de-link NOTES by $INSTALL remove NOTES$SHARE and renaming it.
    A1LNKDRV tells me that NOTES will not be linked.  However, it
    stays in a loop when it gets to OAN$LIBRARY.OLB.  I even tried 
    renaming OAN$LIBRARY as well before attempting to relink.
        
    Any help is appreciated!

	Check the code in OA$BUILD:A1LNKASK.COM, but I read it as looking for SYS$SYSROOT:[SYSLIB]NOTES$SHARE.EXE to decide if DEC Notes is installed. Are you sure that the file really got $INSTALL/REMOVEd and renamed out of the way? Another copy somewhere else in SYS$LIB? Graham
