Hi,
Customer running ALL-IN-1 V3.0-1 and OA$DDS_PRIME=2 reported the following
problem.
Editing of distribution lists sometimes results in VM problems. Successivly
editing of the same distribution list results sometimes in a stackdump.
%SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, access violation, reason mask=00, virtual address=0000005C,

Addresses in distribution lists are local adresses without any full stop.
A scan through STARS and this conference didn't give me really a clue. I found
only one reference with title "[ALL-IN-1]" FASTD: TM - ICF #5 SCAN VM
Corruption / access violation". Could this ICF solve the problem ??
Any input is welcome,
Martin

| Hi, This morning I asked the customer for more information. They create a DL with name @ARTS1, save this DL, Edit the DL, Delete all entries from the DL with F13, save this DL and finally edit this DL again. Result the dump from re. 0 Martin | |||||
| 3527.7 | Maybe a clue ? | UTRTSC::SMEETS | Look at the ALL-IN-1 side of life | Tue Nov 23 1993 11:12 | 17 |
| Hi Stuart, This morning I was able to look at the contents of the DL. I noticed That every addressee contains a space character in the ALL-IN-1 subscriber's name. Addressee Jo Arts ( ARTS JAM ) Henk Wijgerde ( WIJGERE HAJ) Koen Weerheijm ( WEERHEIJM KHV) Notice also that OA$DDS_PRIME = 2 Could the combination of OA$DDS_PRIME and the space character cause the trouble Martin | |||||
| 3527.8 | ICF 14 might be the solution | IOSG::COTTINGHAM | Tue Nov 23 1993 11:29 | 7 | |
| ICF 014 may solve your problem.

    The problem fixed involved a problem when entering Adresses of varying
    lengths on a DDS Prime system.
    If you require the ICF let me know (or preferably send mail to Martin
    Cook @REO)
