3384.0. "A1&LOTUS ABOUT RENAME USER" by TLAV01::PIPHOB () Tue Oct 12 1993 11:01

    hi folks,

I have a simple question. my customer system has been installed ALL-IN-1
V3.0 and LOTUS for ALL-IN-1. and then they have to some username in
ALL-IN-1. Then after they changed that username, but the username in LOTUS
is still old username. Can LOTUS for ALL-IN-1 automatically rename username
or some modifying user? If it's not, how do you rename user? If it's
yes, have any solution? very thanks for any helping.

    best regards,
    psc

Hi PSC,

Lotus for ALL-IN-1 doesn't automatically adapt changes from the ALL-IN-1
profile.

So to rename your Lotus user by hand you should go into the Manage Lotus
users submenu SM M123 and select the user you want to rename.

Now type at the prompt

<WRITE COPY L123A1_ENV_ENT USER="old_a1_name",USER="new_a1_name"
<DUMP_CACHE

Now you should be able to select the new_a1_name user in the current item block.

After this you can select the old_a1_name user in the current item block and
delete this entry.

Succes,

Martin
