    Found something interesting the other day when doing some customization
    to the SUBSCRIBER_CHANGE* scripts.
    
    It seems that when OA$LIB:SM_RENAME.SCP executes, it sets OA$DDS_PRIME 
    to 0 for the process.  All of the SUBSCRIBER_* scripts look for this 
    when executing, and immediately go to the end of the script without
    modifying the DDS entry.
    
    Thus, if a user is renamed, their DDS Subscriber entry information is
    not changed.
    
    ...or am I incorrect...

    I thought it just switched DDS off when it was about to send mail to
    MANAGER and that it remained steadfastly on while it was doing the
    dirty work with the user's account.
    
    You did test this theory using trace, debug and testing didn't you???

    I tested it, and these were the results.  Just out of the chance that
    it does work as it's supposed to, I'll try it on another system and see
    if there is any difference (but I doubt there will be).

    Long time no talk...  See you ran into the same problems as I have. 
    Check out note 1243.6 which is the "official" response from the CSC. 
    Seems that there was more concern about sending log messages that there
    was about updating information to be correct.
