| 3301.1 | DEFAULT has keys defined | BUSHIE::SETHI |  | Mon Sep 20 1993 23:42 | 8 |
|  |     Hi Liz,

    In the DEFAULT form all the global function keys are defined, please
    have a look at the Name Data and you will see how keys are defined.

    Regards,

| 3301.2 | Generally true, however...  CTRL/J instead? | IOSG::PYE | Graham - ALL-IN-1 Sorcerer's Apprentice | Tue Sep 21 1993 09:16 | 10 |

    This is generally true, but in the case of F13, I think the definition
    might be built into FMS.

    Re .0

    However CTRL/J does the same thing, so I expect your PC users could
    type that, or use the appropriate technique to define a key on the PC
    to generate it.

F13 is not defined in the Default form, I had already looked in there and
couldn't find it thats why I thought it might be somewhere else, obviously
not.
What do you mean by it being in FMS, are they in one of the form libraries?
We have user who use either VT320 terminal emulator or KEATERM.
If I do ALT + F3 and look under Keyboard settings there is nothing defined
for delete word. I can't see where any of the UDK's are set.
In KEATERM if I ALT in gives me menu options, same as if when you are in
EDIT at DOS.
CTRL J works so I think I will have to go with that, Unless there are any
other suggestions.
Thanks
Liz
