Hello All,
I've got an ALL-IN-1 Application that I'd like to create an Application
Area for. Before I recreate the wheel, is there an automated command
procedure or script that someone has written that create the Base and
Live areas.
I've created the directories for the REC and Development Areas using
the Create Application Area option.
I'd like to create applications area in the ALL-IN-1 Programming II
course for the Student Groups, but I don't want to have to do it
manually. And I don't want to have to write the command procedure or
script if I don't have to.
Thanks,
Mia

I was under the impression that the C (Create Application) followed by
CA (Create Area) options on the MA (Manage Applications) area does this
for you... Maybe you've got a different version of ALL-IN-1 or I have
been taking something that doesn't agree with me?

(or maybe you might like to read the manuals, or the book, or whatever
to have a good time...)

Tony,
They're talking about the directory structure I think not just the
authorised locations in CM$AUTH$LOCATIONS.
Correct?
One way to do this if your real lazy is to create one element in the
application. Store the element, pack up the application and then restore
it. This way SCM creates the directory for you. Try this before you
tell people though as it might have some limitations. For example I think
that the OEG flag will be set to 0 by the restore.
