| 2757.1 | A WPS_PLUS Formatter problem | IOSG::NEWLAND | Richard Newland, IOSG, REO2-G/L2 | Wed May 26 1993 10:53 | 12 |
| | This looks like it is a WPS-PLUS Formatter problem because when the HP
WPS-PLUS Printer Table is used the problem occurs and when the WPS-PLUS
Printer Table defined for the LPS20 is used the problem goes away.
ALL-IN-1 has called the correct formatter, with the correct device type,
and submitted the resulting listing file to the correct printer queue.
You will have to ask in the WPS-PLUS conference for further information.

| | Believe it or not you actually need to add an extra form feed to stop
it throwing a form feed ??!! Do this from the Printer Setup option PS
in the the printer table utility :-

                                     Printer Setup

             Initialization sequence: <ESC>E

             Termination sequence: <FF><ESC>E

             Page size:

             Maximum Page size: 0
             Number of page ejects: 0
Loaded page left in printer (Y/N): N

| | Is he printing from the same account that does the changes ? Does he do
SC to save the changes ? Is he definately using the changed table
(print to FILE and check escape codes) ? Has he made the table system wide ?
FREE::WPS-PLUS note 541 seems to agree with the solution I gave which
    has worked for other customers...
