2717.0. "DUMP when I call WPDXMENU form..." by VAXRIO::WILLECKE (I'm still trying...) Sat May 15 1993 21:49

    I found two other problems today!!!!
    
    I had deinstaled SFCP, Intalled the ALL-IN-1 V3.0-1 PATCH and TeamRoute
    for ALL-IN-1 V1.1... After that, I customized the WPDXMENU element to
    include the option VTP (for VTXprep). The customization was OK, but
    now, when I call the DT option, it shows me a DUMP and quits
    ALL-IN-1!!!! Even when I try to Remove this element from the live area,
    it shows the DUMP and quits ALL-IN-1! The customization is OK, because
    I had done this last week and it was working, but I had run the CART
    from the PATCH and it told me to remove the WPDXMENU element, so I had to
    customize it again...
    
    How can I fix this? What is wrong?

    Hello:
    
    Check the form you are using (ctl/n, oa$form_****, or oa$form_info)
    and see what you have.
    
    Also, check the DT option named data to make sure there are no changes.
    
    And, before entering the form do the following (you may want to turn
    on trace, also);
    
    	< oa$msg_trap.
    
    This will give you the information you need to get started.

    I turned on the trace and I received the message "SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO,
    access violation, reason mask=01, virtual address=01AC992F, PC=0019D625, 
    PSL=03C00000" . But, I noticed a strange thing, when I access the
    WPDXMENU from the CM and test it, it seams to be OK, after the test I
    can access the DT option from everywhere without any problem!!!!!
    
    What does this means????
    
    The DT named data is OK, the only change is that I included the VTP
    option for the VTXprep. The DT option is beeing called from the default
    form and is right (FORM WPDXMENU).

    I Moved the element WPDXMENU again to the Live Area and it is working
    now!!!! I don't understand what happened, but I think that it had
    something to be with a different version from the element in the Live
    area and the other in the development...
