| 2632.1 | You have to make the change in the messages file | TINNIE::SETHI | Ah (-: an upside down smile from Oz | Thu Apr 29 1993 04:02 | 14 |
| | Hi Roger,

The "----- ATTACHMENT -----" is in the message file called
OA$BUILD_LLV:OAFC$MESSAGES.MSG, look for the string ATTACHMENTMARK and
    make the change.

You will have to recompile the messages file and relink ALL-IN-1 and I
am not quite sure how to make this change live. I am sure that some in
ALL-IN-1 will be able to tell you.

You have not told us what version of ALL-IN-1 you have installed, this
    could make the difference !!!

| | Sunil,

I think there's something wrong with the $SEARCH verb on your system,
since this message is actually in OA$BUILD:OAMESS.MSG :-)

Your advice about recompiling the mesasage file is basically correct.
Unfortunately customising .MSG files isn't supported by CM, so you have
    to do it yourself.

You need to compile ($MESS/TEXT/OBJ) the message file, and insert
($LIB/REPLACE) the generated object file into the site object library
    OA$SITE_BUILD_LLV:SITEOALLV.OLB. Then relink as usual.

I think this is in the Manager's Guide or Application Books somewhere.

| | GAP,

Unfortunately as mentioned twice before that information was removed
from the MG in v3.0 -see 1202 for example or 1356 and a QAR was
    submitted.

There are two excellent STARS articles on this
Correction To Mgt Guide 'Managing Changes To Non-Customizable Elements'
    and
[ALL-IN-1] V3.0: How To Modify Messages in Non-CM Customizable Message
    Files

    regards,
