2567.0. "Corporate/Group dictionary full - additional system wide dictionary ?" by PEARS::KIRBACH () Wed Apr 14 1993 17:40
Hi,
customer has following configuration:
VMS V5.5-2, ALL-IN-1 V2.4, WPS-PLUS V4.0
VMS V5.5-2, ALL-IN-1 V3.0, WPS-PLUS V4.1
Is it possible to create an additional system wide dictionary, if one of the
existing dictionaries (GROUP, CORPORATE) becomes full? I already know the way to
split a personal dictionary, but this is not a solution for system wide
dictionaries. I've tried to make an entry in "DATASPELL.DAT" and added an DOCDB-
ENTRY, pointing to OA$SYSTEM_DICTIONARIES:NEXUS.LGP. It works for the account
with the additional DOCDB-ENTRY.
I'm not sure that this is the correct way. If it is, I have to add an entry in
each DOCDB, havn't I?
Is there a supported and perhaps easier way?
Regards
Michael

| 2567.1 | Ask WPS-PLUS or Linguistics... | IOSG::PYE | Graham - ALL-IN-1 Sorcerer's Apprentice | Thu Apr 15 1993 09:53 | 8 |
| | You might try asking this question in the WPS-PLUS or linguistics
    conferences (See note 4.* here for pointers) since they understand
    these things.

    But as I understand it, I think your theory that you need to add a
    DOCDB record for everyone is correct.
