A customer wishes to move Lotus 1-2-3/ALL-IN-1 V1.5 between disks. My understanding of CM is that the site and base locations for the application areas involved are held in CM$APP, CM$MAF and CM$AUTH$LOCATIONS. However the disk locations fields are non-enterable in CM$MAF and CM$AUTH$LOCATIONS for me to modify the disk name. I can make the changes required by using a lot of "WRITE CHANGES" but I am concerned as to why these fields are protected. This is on a British language installation and the area's involved are L123_SHARE and L123_BRITISH. What is the correct way to 'move' an ALL-IN-1 application? Thanks Aston UK CSC

| Aston,

there is a particularly exceptionally briliiant STARS article entitled
V3.0 Documentation Incomplete For Moving an ALL-IN-1 Area
which amongst its many shining qualities is a FOR loop or two that cuts
down on all those WRITE CHANGEs. I would recommend reading that article
    and following it.

I don't believe you need to edit CM$AUTH$LOCATIONS since that file
deals with logicals so you may correct the translations of those
logicals after the move by running the DAL menu option.
