| 2492.1 | Yes I can reproduce it | AIMTEC::WICKS_A | Oscar the Grouch is an Optimist! | Wed Mar 31 1993 01:55 | 15 |
|  |     Elin,

    I've just reproduced this on an system running ALL-IN-1 v3.0 AMERICAN
    ENGLISH - i.e no patch ans indeed all the documents end up in folder
    A1 in the other drawer.

    Refiling between Drawers invokes the File Cab Server whereas refiling
    in the same drawer doesn't so I wonder if there is a different code
    path at play here.

    File Cab experts please?

    regards,

| 2492.2 | sounds familiar | CHRLIE::HUSTON |  | Wed Mar 31 1993 09:18 | 11 |
|  |
    When I read this it sounded terribly familiar, so I checked with one
    of the old developers who would have fixed it. He also remembers
    it. Though the fix was for copying in the same drawer.

    The good news is that we THINK we know what it is. I will log a bug
    about it so it is not "forgotten" and will look into it when I get
    a spare second.

| 2492.3 | Fixed in MUPA ... | ZUR01::KURTH | Peter Kurth @RLE, Rmlang (Switzerland) | Tue Jan 25 1994 15:56 | 13 |
|  | 	Hi all
	This problem with RFF has been fixed in ALL-IN-1 V3.0A (MUPA)
	BL61A 16-Dec-1993, but not in the old MUPA from 26-NOV-1993.
	Is this correct?
	A customer reported this problem and he has
	MUPA 26-NOV-1993 installed. I cannot reproduce this problem on
	my system, where MUPA 16-DEC-1993 is installed. So, if it is the
	MUPA, I will urge the customer to install the latest MUPA.
	Thanks and regards, Peter

|  |     Peter,

    You should ALWAYS encourage the customer to install a released version
    of any product - how did they get their 'pirate' copy - as that's the
    only one covered by their support contract.

    Regards,

| 2492.5 | Fixed in SSB | IOSG::STANDAGE |  | Tue Jan 25 1994 16:35 | 10 |
|  |
    Peter,

    This was fixed at the beginning of December. You need the MUPA SSB to
    pick up the fix, which is what your customer should really be running
    anyway !

    Kevin.

| 2492.6 | Same problem, different perspective, fixed in SSB | IOSG::STANDAGE |  | Tue Jan 25 1994 16:41 | 19 |
|  |
    Peter,

    A side effect of this problem is something quite disasterous if you're
    customer is running with TeamLinks. If you have the following folders:

            PC
            PC IMPLEMENTATION
            PC HARDWARE

    ...and you attempt to delete the first folder (PC)...all of them will
    be deleted !!

    So, there's a bit on encouragement to upgrade to MUPA SSB.

    Kevin.
