Hello,
One of my customer has the following problem:
With ALL-IN-1 3.0-1 french and SMU option.
When using SMU option he often have no unread count mail. It is an
important pb for him because it happens to a secretary consulting her
manager's mail . She didn't see the message about new mail and did not
read new mail. In fact there where important mails waiting for read and
process.
The system manager had tested this option and the pb appened twice each
ten test.
I tested this on my own machine. The result is worth. The unread mail
count corespond with the reader's one.
How is filled the unread mail count when using smu option?
Is this problem known?
Thanks for any help.

Genevieve,
I believe that this is a known restriction with SMU please see the STARS
article entitled "SMU And New Mail Broadcast Messages" see below
When using the Set Mail User (SMU) option, the new mail broadcast
messages you receive pertain to your own mail account NOT the
user whose mail you are currently set to use.
This is a restriction in the current version of ALL-IN-1 V3.0.

Hi,
Thanks for your answer. I have mixed txo differents pb .
1) effectively in 3.0 (on my configuration) the pb of unread mail count
pertains to the "reader" . This pb has been fixed withe 3.0-1
version. My customer has this patch and doesnot have my pb.
2) His pb is that the new mail broadcast message does not always
appears when doing SMU.
Is it a restriction of the version?
Thanks .
Genevieve
