Can I run this procedure at anytime or does another command file run
    it?

I made changes to the files but the documentation (Tuning ALL-IN-1
15.2.5.2) is not clear as to when/how it's run (auto or manually).

Also if sdaf (oa$share) if large (1200+ blks), can it be reduced somehow?

    regards,

    Morris

    Morris,

You should not attempt to run SYS$STARTUP:OAFC$STARTUP.COM to start up
    the file cabinet server.

    This can be achieved by:

    a) Running A1V30START.COM
    b) Using the STA option from the ALL-IN-1 Manage Servers subsystem.

    Morris,

There is no real problem with running it your own, you need to pass
    in parameters to it.

You should, for safety reasons, run it from the STA option though.
